This is a really lovely sherried whisky. The cask has not been allowed to overpower the spirit at all and could be for a 24 year old one of the most delicate sherried whiskies I have ever had.

Just delicious and a great way to continue to celebrate Advent and the last few days before Christmas.

This amazing whisky is available only from the following retailers in the very limited quantity of 60 bottles:

Well, I hope you have been enjoying this last little buildup to Christmas.

Tomorrow we head off shore to visit a very rare independent bottling from A.D. Rattray for our Christmas Eve dram.

So finish your shopping early, make sure the kids are in bed and the fire is roaring. Grab your Spiegelau whisky tumbler and join me on the couch for a real treat.

See you on Christmas Eve …

Slainte!
